As a young resident, Joe Bensimon began his career in paediatric medicine at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. He went on to establish a private practice in Vancouver, and for over three decades was one of British Columbia's leading paediatricians, specializing in neo-natology. 

On July 25th, 2022, Joe passed away peacefully at age 95. 

Joe was always passionate about children's health and philanthropy. In memory of Joe, we'd like to build a legacy and help SickKids build a new, state-of-the art hospital.
