“My idea was simple: ‘how can I help children in need?’ My family used cardboard boxes we had lying around, went to our local dollar store, and got to work making our very own lemonade stand."
WHY SICKKIDS?
“My little brother, Jacob is SickKids patient. I hope that one day, there will be a cure, and that he will no longer have to take any medication.”
WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE TO SOMEONE STARTING A FUNDRAISER?
“Just do it! Involve your family and friends, and do good while having some fun! Be creative, spread the word, ask for support, make an event out of it.”
