About ECHO:

ECHO is a content-driven new media + community that gathers popularity in the @ECHO planning department, initiating interesting and relaxed quality social interactions, exploring local lifestyles, and developing original audio and video programs. Through the production of creative content, ECHO provides online and offline brand activation solutions.

Why SickKids:

We are 1.5 generation immigrants who came to Canada as international students. Here, we have gained knowledge, started our careers, met our lifelong partners, and hope to build our own home through our efforts on this land. The ECHO Planning Department hopes to help our generation build our own community, create a home environment, find our sense of belonging, and as new citizens of the city of Toronto, we are proud to participate in the construction of new city landmarks and the creation of a new SickKids. We hope to make our community better with the power of our new immigrant generation, and we also hope that our next generation will grow up healthy and strong in this place we call home.

We are fundraising for SickKids so they can:

• Build a new, state-of-the-art hospital and patient support buildings
• Continue breakthrough research, turning today’s discoveries into tomorrow’s cures
• Build partnerships across the country and around the world, so all kids get the care they deserve
