STEP-BY-STEP-TEMBRE

In recognition of the fact that approximately 300,000 children and adolescents around the world are diagnosed with cancer each year, September has been designated as the month for raising awareness of childhood cancer and funds for treatment and research. Supporters often wear a gold ribbon — the colour associated with childhood cancers.

GO FOR THE GOLD!  Wear a gold ribbon, spread the word and raise funds to support children with cancer in our community.

STEP–BY-STEP-TEMBRE  is a family-oriented virtual walk from September 1st to 30th. Participants go outside, get moving and enjoy the last of the nice weather while promoting September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and raising funds to purchase priority medical equipment in support of Oncology.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Register yourself or your team at any time and start fundraising. Then go for a stroll, walk or run either alone or with family and friends any time between September 1st to 30th.  While on the walk, take a photo of yourself and those with you, and send the picture to: contact_skh@ sianbradwell.com by September 30th. N.B. Photos must be date-stamped.

Registration is required to compete for prizes and will allow you to create your own fundraising page.  Send the link for this page to your family and friends and ask them to support your efforts. The more funds raised, the greater the chance of winning a prize!

All donations of $20 or more will be issued a tax receipt.

There will be prizes for the top fundraisers as well as random draws just for participating. Winners will be announced on October 3rd: Sian’s birthday!
