Bestie Bracelets in the park!
We are going to make friendship bracelets (inspired by Taylor Swift) and collect donations to reach our goal of $1000 for the kids!
We are accepting UNOPENED bead kits to donate to the hospital. We are unable to donate handmade items such as pre-made bracelets just to keep everyone safe!
Sydney is 13 years old. She’s been a patient at SickKids since shortly after birth. She was born with 3 rare genetic conditions: 9q chromosomal deletion, Loeys-Dietz Syndrome and Gorlin Syndrome. She’s effected by these conditions from head to toe which means she sees MANY specialists at SickKids on a regular basis, namely neurosurgery, cardiology, neurology, and dermatology. They all work together to monitor the many manifestations of her conditions which include multiple basal cell carcinomas, numerous cardiac and vascular abnormalities as well as several rare structural abnormalities of her spine and brain. We consider the treatment she receives at SickKids to be world class and we’ve seen with our own eyes all the incredible good they do for so many families.
